Learning Support Coaches
A key component in ensuring universal accessibility and maximizing learning for all students is the use of Learning Coaches to support teachers and support staff in implementing inclusive education practices.
The learning coach works in collaboration with the classroom teacher, students and parents, assisting in the development of individual learner profiles, planning intervention and programming strategies, building capacity in the classroom teacher’s knowledge and skills, as well as working with students in the classroom setting in a team teaching role with the classroom teacher.
