Hello everyone! Friends of Glenbow is running a fundraiser through Prairie Gourmet, who sell amazing frozen perogies and sausages. This fundraiser is running from March 7- 24. The pick up of the product will be on MARCH 29 from 2-4 pm at Glenbow School. You must be able to have your product picked up at that time as there is no freezer place for storage.
Glenbow School Council and Friends of Glenbow Education Society are in the process of raising the funds to build a new, fully inclusive and accessible, state of the art playground and outdoor classroom/learning space at Glenbow School. We were thrilled to recently receive a donation from Cochrane Home Treasures for $20,000! What a way to kick off our fundraising efforts.
Our goal is to raise $500,000 through fundraising, grants and donations by 2025. We are asking for the help of parents of Glenbow to spread the word and help us make this playground a success. If you work for a company or know of a company who would be interested in donating please send me an email at glenbow-schoolcouncil@rvschools.ab.ca. Glenbow School is an amazing community and we are grateful for all your support.

Are you interested in being a volunteer reader?
We are looking for reading volunteers at Glenbow School! If you or a family member are interested in helping children to develop a love of reading, please reach out to our Assistant Principal, Mme Sarah, at scaldwell@rockyview.ab.ca. Volunteering to read with students is a great way to connect with our community and get to know our school outside of your child’s classroom.
We are a Nut Aware and Scent Free school. This means we want to ensure that all lunch and snacks do not contain nuts. We have a number of students with life threatening allergies. This includes things like Nutella and Peanut Butter. We also have students and staff with severe allergies to scents. Please do not wear any perfumes or colognes if you are volunteering in the school. Thanks for your understanding.
Please Drive Slowly in the School Zone!
As we get back to school, please ensure you are driving slowly through the school zone around Glenbow. We want to ensure all students get to and from school safely each day!
No Parking or Walking in the Staff Parking Lot
This is a reminder that there is no parking in the staff parking lot before/after school.
We also ask that you do not walk through the parking lot at anytime. It is a busy spot and we do not want anyone getting hurt.
Thanks for you cooperation.
