Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,

I hope you had a wonderful summer, and I would like to welcome you back to Glenbow School!  My name is Bruce Gramlich and I am thrilled to be your child’s grade three teacher for the 2022 - 2023 school year. I have been an educator at Glenbow School for over a decade working within multiple grade levels and as a Learning Support Teacher. I recently completed graduate studies with a master’s degree in education and I am happy to return to the grade three classroom again this year!

I am excited to share that we will be hosting an Open House BBQ on Wednesday, Aug. 31 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm.  This will give us an opportunity to meet each other, ask any questions about start up, and enjoy a hot dog with our Glenbow families. If you are unable to make it to the Open House BBQ, no worries, I will share important information in a follow up email at the end of the week.

Staggered Student Entry will occur this week. We will start the school year with staggard entry which means your child will only attend one day this week. Your start date will depend on your last name.

Thursday, Sept. 1 – Surname starting with A – K will attend

Friday, Sept. 2 – Surname starting with L – Z will attend

Tuesday, Sept. 6 – First day with ALL students attending

*Reminder: School start time is 8:00 am.

We will also have a Welcome Back Assembly on Wednesday, Sept. 7. Parents are invited to attend this year. More information to come in the Glenbow Gazette emailed on Friday afternoon.

All school supplies are provided for our Kindergarten to Grade 4 students.  Please ensure that your child has a pair of indoor school shoes (non-scuff soles, suitable for physical activity please) that will remain at the school, a backpack with a packed snack, lunch and water bottle each day. Also, if you could send a box of tissues with your child it would be greatly appreciated.
